端午節是中華文化中最精彩且具深意的節慶之一。它將在倫敦的港人與當地家庭凝聚在一起，共同傳承歷史、體驗精彩活動並品嚐傳統美食。我們在哈羅 藝術公園(Art Park, Harrow)舉辦的「Together HK CIC 2026 年端午節家庭同樂日」，為所有參與的家庭留下了難忘的美好回憶。

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most vibrant and meaningful celebrations in Chinese culture. It brings London-based Hong Kongers and local families together to honour history, enjoy lively activities, and share delicious traditional foods. Our "Together HK CIC Dragon Boat Festival Family Event 2026," held at the Art Park in Harrow, was a memorable day filled with joy for all ages.

端午節的歷史與意義

The Meaning Behind the Dragon Boat Festival

端午節（又稱龍舟節）的傳統已有兩千多年歷史，旨在紀念詩人屈原。節日定於農曆五月初五，賽龍舟習俗象徵著對屈原的追尋，而吃粽子和掛艾草等傳統習俗則寓意著驅邪與健康。這不僅是文化傳承，更是一個凝聚家庭與社區精神的重要時刻。

Also known as the Duanwu Festival, this tradition dates back over 2,000 years. It honours the ancient poet Qu Yuan, a symbol of patriotism and sacrifice. Celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, the festival features dragon boat races—symbolising the search for Qu Yuan in the river—alongside customs like eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) and hanging herbs for good health and protection.

Our 2026 festival offered a perfect mix of education and entertainment:

• (手作工作坊) Craft Workshops: 大小朋友親手製作迷你龍舟和粽子裝飾 。

• Children and adults created their own mini dragon boats and traditional rice dumpling decorations

• (故事分享) Storytelling Sessions: 生動的故事分享，讓年輕一代更了解屈原與節日的由來。Tales of Qu Yuan and the festival’s origins brought history to life for younger audiences.

• 文化表演 Cultural Performances: 欣賞精彩的傳統音樂，包括古箏演奏與中國舞表演。Attendees enjoyed traditional music, including live Guzheng performances and Chinese dance.

• 遊戲與競賽 Games and Contests: 趣味橫生的戶外遊戲，促進家庭間的互動與合作。 Outdoor games encouraged cooperation and friendly competition.

• 港式街頭小食 Hong Kong "Siu Si" : 地道港式小吃：茶葉蛋、涼麵、黑芝麻糊、咖哩魚蛋、豬皮蘿蔔等。A feast of comfort foods, including tea eggs, cold noodles, black sesame soup, Hong Kong style curry sauce with fish balls, pork skin, radish and more!

龍舟競渡，象徵齊心協力；這份團結精神亦貫穿了我們整個活動的籌備過程。衷心感謝各位義工、表演嘉賓、合作夥伴、贊助商及每一位參與者，是你們的鼎力相助成就了當日活動順利完成。從前期規劃、宣傳推廣，到場地佈置、攤位營運以至活動後的清潔工作，每一個細節都凝聚了團隊的心血與付出。我們更榮幸能邀得哈羅區市長 (Mr Councillor Yogesh Teli) 及市長夫人 (Mrs. Neela Teli)，以及哈羅西區國會議員 (Mr Gareth Thomas MP) 親臨現場，與眾同樂。誠摯感謝每一位夥伴付出的熱忱，讓我們共同創造了這場歡樂且難忘的活動。期待在不久的將來，能與大家再次相聚！

Dragon boat racing embodies the spirit of unity, a spirit that has shone brightly throughout the preparation of our event. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers, performers, partners, sponsors, and participants for your unwavering support. From initial planning and promotion to venue setup, booth operations, and final clean-up, every detail reflects the dedication and hard work of our team. We were truly honoured to have the Mayor of Harrow (Mr Councillor Yogesh Teli), and Mayoress (Mrs Neela Teli), along with the Member of Parliament for Harrow West( Mr Gareth Thomas), join us to celebrate this festive occasion. Thank you to everyone who contributed their passion and effort to make this event so joyful and memorable. We look forward to seeing you all again at our next gathering!
